Cricut Layouts LID Challenge 7/24-7/31

I just finished the GypsyMaps for this week's Cricut message board LID challenge. Here are the files...

If you have never heard of the LID challenge, it's a lot of fun to participate in - and a great way to keep the momentum on your scrapbooking projects. Each week's challenge features a scrapbooking sketch or two, and the goal is to make a layout based on one of the sketches. When you are finished, you then upload a picture to the Cricut message board of your completed layout.

Click here to participate in this week's challenge. Even if you don't have time to scrapbook this week (I know some of you lucky ones are busy with CHA!), it's still fun to see all the different interpretations of the posted sketches. If you are reading this "after the fact" and want to participate, that's ok - there's probably a new challenge posted, and you can find it in the Layouts section of the Cricut message board.

July 2010 Gypsy Maps

Below are the Gyspy downloads for the July 2010 PageMaps. If you have not done so already, visit Becky Fleck's Pagemaps website to download the PDF file of the July 2010 sketches. Here's the link:

I always print these off and put them in a three ring binder for easy reference. When I'm ready to scrapbook, I pick a sketch that will work for my pictures, and then I create a Gypsy file to cut all the page elements. In fact, that's what you will find below - Gypsy files for all ten of July's PageMaps, available to download.

As a side note, I plan on creating Gypsy files for future Pagemaps, and as time allows, I will also be adding them for previous months too, as well as some other goodies. To get access to these files as soon as they are available, make sure you subscribe to my RSS feed or follow me - or else check back often!

Also, if this is the first time you have added outside files to your Gypsy, click here for download and installation instructions. It's really simple to do using the Gypsy Sync software. Even I was surprised at how simple it was - that's why I decided to go ahead and share my files here.

Speaking of sharing files, I suppose I had better get to it! So, here they are...

p.s. Note that there are two files for the two page layouts.
